Responsible, with the management team, for developing policies and strategies, implementing the policies and plans approved by the Board of Directors, and applying those decisions to day-to-day operations.

Programme managers and officers
AHEAD has a team of programme managers and officers with extensive experience in managing complex projects alongside a variety of health and government officials and communities.

Community health and health system strengthening
Experience managing and implementing community health programmes for common infectious diseases — dengue, malaria, diarrhoea, pneumonia — alongside water and sanitation and maternal and child health.

Complex project management
Proficient in managing complex projects with government, local and international partners: planning, evaluation, managing finances, monitoring, and working with communities, health authorities and district and national government.

National policy
AHEAD has been involved in developing health policies at the national level, alongside its work in provinces and operational districts.

Managers and staff gained their medical, management and financial experience and training through community-based health programmes with Catholic Relief Services between 1993 and 2006.
