Working with us

What we ask of coverage

  • People, not subjects

Patients are named only with their written consent, and that consent can be withdrawn after publication. We will not supply imagery of identifiable patients without it.

  • Numbers in context

We will always give you the denominator and the confidence interval. If a figure is an estimate we will say so, and we would rather you print that than a rounder number.

  • No white saviour framing

Ninety-four per cent of our staff are citizens of the countries they work in. Coverage that presents this work as done by foreigners is inaccurate, and we will say so.
