How the work is delivered

Projects are integrated with each other and delivered through the existing health system and village structures rather than in parallel to them.

    Although projects are funded and reported separately, they are integrated in the field to maximise impact and decrease the resources needed for implementation.

    With the health system, not beside it

    Work is delivered with provincial health departments, operational districts and health centres, under the national programmes for malaria, tuberculosis and HIV.

    Delivered by village structures

    Village health support groups and village and mobile malaria workers deliver the work in their own communities, with AHEAD supporting training, supervision and supply.
