Action for Health Development was officially registered with the Ministry of Interior, after thirteen years of community-based health work with Catholic Relief Services.

Global Fund health system strengthening
AHEAD began Global Fund programmes strengthening community structures and health services across Battambang and Oddar Meanchey, reaching more than half a million people.

Social accountability
The Implementation of Social Accountability Framework brought citizen-led monitoring and open budgets to communes in Koh Kong, with a focus on women, youth and ethnic minorities.

Village health workers, expanded roles
Village malaria workers received new diagnostic tools for dengue and fever alongside four packages of health education training, extending their role beyond malaria.

Antimicrobial resistance engagement
Public engagement on antimicrobial resistance began in Battambang and Siem Reap, reaching 4,448 students and 250 teachers through circus arts.
