New partnership expands maternal care to 40 more districts in Nepal
A five-year agreement with the Ministry of Health will extend skilled birth attendance to an estimated 190,000 additional women.

The agreement covers forty districts across three provinces and runs to 2031, with a scheduled handover of all clinical operations to district health authorities in the final two years.
Funding is shared between the Ministry of Health and our unrestricted reserve. No single external funder holds more than nine percent of the programme budget.
Work like this is funded almost entirely by monthly gifts from individuals.
